Hello. My name is Richard Wingfield and I am “recovering architect” turned technology consultant … I am the owner and “head geek” at Envision Design, LLC … mindful productivity coach at GObytes … and I am a photography enthusiast.

In April of 2018 I purchased my first interchangeable lens camera in over 20 years and rediscovered the joy of photography. For years now, photography via my mobile phone has been my version of a meditation practice. My way to try to stay present and in the moment. To learn to slow down and see thru the lens what I might miss in an otherwise busy and hurried life. A daily photography practice as a means to learn to be present.

I share a photo a day on instagram as my daily mindfulness practice and I hope you also find some value, or joy, or respite from the hurried world in the images I share here as well.

What can be more “present” and in the moment than photography? It seems impossible to be dwelling on the past or worried about the future when you are taking the time to slow down and notice the world around you… right here… right now… in the present.

I share this quote from Eckhart Tolle with you as it has become the inspiration for my daily photography practice.

“Unease, anxiety, tension, stress, worry – all forms of fear – are caused by too much future, and not enough presence. Guilt, regret, resentment, grievances, sadness, bitterness, and all forms of non-forgiveness are caused by too much past, and not enough presence.” ~ Eckhart Tolle
